Refund Policy

Effective July 21, 2026

This Refund Policy applies to paid SectorBrief subscriptions purchased directly from SectorBrief. It supplements our Terms of Service; where the two differ on refunds, this policy controls.

1. Free trial

Where offered, the free trial requires no payment to start, and no charge is made until the trial ends. If you cancel during the trial, or the trial ends without a payment method on file, you are never billed and no refund is needed. The free trial is available once per person.

2. Monthly plans

You may cancel at any time from your account or the billing portal. Cancellation stops future billing, and your access continues through the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not issue refunds for partial months.

3. Annual plans

If you are not satisfied with an annual plan, we will refund the annual charge in full if you request it within 30 days of that charge. After 30 days, the annual charge is not refunded, and your access continues through the end of the annual term. This 30-day window applies to the first charge of each annual period, including renewals.

4. Billing errors

Duplicate charges, charges after a completed cancellation, and other billing errors are refunded in full. Contact us and we will correct the error promptly.

5. Consumers in the EU and UK

If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase of digital services within 14 days. We honor that right for the first charge of a subscription. Nothing in this policy limits any right that applicable law does not allow to be limited.

6. How to request a refund

Email info@sectorbrief.ai from the email address on your account and tell us which charge the request concerns. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method, normally within 5 to 10 business days of approval.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email or in the portal, and the effective date above will be updated. The policy in effect at the time of a charge governs that charge.
